Would love to hear pros and cons of both schools. We have a year 7 offer from both and we are coming from overseas. I cant decide on which school for our child. We want a more inclusive school

Are you Catholic? What would your plan be post 13 if you choose Bilton?
DH is a Princethorpe alum, we seriously considered it for yr7 for DC but ultimately we live too far away to make the journey on a daily basis.
It is a lovely school, DC really liked it and we think would have been happy there. I was slightly concerned as I’m not Catholic but a visit put any concerns to bed.

I went to both these schools albeit a long time ago.

I absolutely loved Bilton Grange and would definitely favour it over Princethorpe. But my thoughts here would be Princethorpe goes through to sixth form so depends what you want for your child.

Yes, you are right, my concern is Bilton Grange kids in Year 7 will already have friend groupd and she may struggle to fit in, but if she joins Princethorpe in year 7, most people are new?

Princethorpe has plenty of non-Catholics.

Coming from overseas, I don’t think I’d pick Bilton Grange unless you plan to go on to Rugby. I’d find somewhere for until at least GCSE age.
