Experiences of Broadwater Godalming or Glebelands Cranleigh for secondary school choices?

We live in what I can only describe as “no man’s land” for secondary school catchment.

Can anyone shed any light on Broadwater in Godalming or Glebelands in Cranleigh?

Private options for boys also seem limited!

Friends with children at Broadwater rate it very highly. Academics have improved greatly over past 7 or 8 years to a great Progress 8 and results whilst still seeming to have good pastoral care. They rave about the extra curricular offering. I do know it is normally oversubscribed at year 7 whilst Glebelands doesn't always seem to be.
