11+ Decision (Kings/LU/DC/Alleyn's/Emmanuel/Hampton)

Hello,

My DS is fortunate to have offers from Kings/LU/DC/Alleyn's/Emmanuel/Hampton, including academic scholarships at DC and Alleyn's. We are pretty set on Kings, but are going to the offer events there and at LU.

DC was our other top choice, but it is further away, still a simple school bus from Parsons Green, but weekends and school visits will be more challenging. We loved the school and have friends whose kids are very happy there. If we didn't have Kings and LU, it would be a no-brainer.

Does anyone have any insights or experiences to consider before we commit to King's next week? It's such a big decision, and we feel very grateful to have the choice.

Not sure why King's deposit is 2x everyone else??

You sound as though you’re going with Kings anyway but I’d definitely go to both offer days. Very different vibes! Big difference of course is the Co-Ed v Single Sex and possibility of IB at Kings.
(I have a child at one and have links professionally to the other- both great schools, just different!)
