Bute / Latymer / Thomas's Kensington?

Looking for perspective and advice.

My daughter is currently at Thomas's Kensington, and following the 7+ process has secured a space at Bute and Latymer. We love Thomas's but have felt she's quite academically inclined, and doesn't always get the stretch / challenge.

Would love to get some perspective from Mums who have sent their girls to Bute and Latymer (appreciate they're very diff choices)

I know some with dds at Bute and some who had ds's at Latymer Prep, but they now moved on to Latymer upper. I also have a dc at Latymer Upper. We are very happy with the school. My feeling is Bute is more competitive amongst the parents there and Latymer more laid back (probably because they have the option to continue there and most do). Bute feels more stressful because of the 11+ and some parents go crazy with the extra tutoring/classes/workshops trying to get a spot at St Paul's. I have heard wonderful things about Bute though and my dd has a few girls in her school that came from Bute. She said they are all very academic (and still get tutored weekly!).

I think I'd go for Latymer and avoid the whole 11+. It's not as bad as some people make out but I imagine will be super stressful at Bute where lots of parents see SPGS as the holy grail!
I also have a DC at Latymer Upper and are very happy with the school.
I guess it also depends on whether you have a preference over single sex/C-Ed.
