Easy introductory read on economics and finance for a 12 year old

12 year old DD is keen to understand basic micro economic concepts and also how financial markets (bonds, equities) work. I'm sure there are blogs, YouTube tutorials on this, but I prefer books as a medium to start with. I can probably explain it to her since I used to work in banking, but I am quite time poor and not great at teaching either. Please can someone recommend a few books?
I might get her started on something like undercover economist.

My DH who has a business type degree is a fan of that Free Lunch book.

The Dorling Kindersley book How Money Works is excellent.

You could also get her a Go Henry card and encourage her to do the free tutorials.

@Neolara thanks - yes, I had issued her these from the library last year and she read them. Thanks for the other suggestions on this thread, as well.
