Chigwell School - is its any good?

Thinking of sending daughter here next year, but have heard some negative stories about the Head and just wanted to see if anyone else has got more positive experiences?

The school itself is pretty good, but educationally different from the likes of Bancroft or Forest.

How old is your daughter? If she's very young, the Head will probably have come and gone in her time, as they do.

I know families that are very happy there. I've not heard anything negative, but was surprised at their drop in GCSE and A-level rankings this year. It seems a much kinder and more supportive place than Forest and less intense than Bancroft's.
