Secondary school application - proof of address

I applied for my daughters secondary school in September and yesterday I received an email that they wanted proof of address dated within last 6 months.

can I send them proof of child benefit entitlement from the HMRC app?

if yes, it gets dated from today’s date. Will it be ok to send?

It should say on the LA's website what documentation is required/ acceptable, but if not, then the ChB letter should be okay.

My local authority wants to see gas or electricity bill for application property from within last 3 months. It also wishes to see 2 of: Dr surgery registration with your application address on it, or dentist. Car registration document. Driving license. Mortgage details. House/contents insurance. Official letter from DWP or HMRC. A bank account letter with address. An official nhs letter to parent or child.
