Didcot Girls School (DGS) Oxfordshire

Interested in hearing views on this school, from any current or recent parents.
What is it like at the school, how do the they achieve high grades and are there a good selection of clubs etc? How is the pastoral care? Do you feel the children have a happy journey through school?

You're probably not getting any answers because it's very outing to post! I've name changed to do so. My daughter's there and getting on great. Obviously this is the first year without the head teacher, who was excellent, and for now the deputies are just filling in while recruitment is ongoing. So, a lot about the future is unknown. But we have no complaints, it's an excellent school. You'd get better feedback on the many Didcot Facebook groups.

Thank you it is good to hear feedback from current parents. I hadn't realised the head had left, but hopefully whoever takes their place will continue the good results and experiences for the girls.

I will have a look at the Facebook groups again, but didn't find much about DGS. Hoping here there would be a bit warts and all answers.
