We’re starting to look at moving to Bath and would love to get some information and hear from other parents’ experiences. My daughter will be starting secondary school in 2026 (so need to apply by the end of Oct) and we are currently based in Gloucestershire. We have sold our house but will be looking for a rental until we buy.
I’d be really interested to hear about:
- Which secondary schools are considered strong in the area
- Which neighbourhoods are popular with families
- How the move has felt for families who have relocated from London to Bath. We previously lived in London so the City has a strong appeal especially as the children are getting older.
We’re thinking about moving from a more rural setting to the city, so any insights from those who have made a similar transition would be really helpful.
