Wimbledon college or Harris academy Wimbledon?

Hi, could anyone share their opinion about these two schools which one is better, my son was given a place in Wimbledon college but every day he asked me to transfer him to Harris Academy Wimbledon because his classmates are going there, and I am not sure what I have to do in this situation?

Surely this is a bit moot - Harris Academy Wimbledon is even more oversubscribed than Wimbledon College and while the waiting list will be held according to the criteria, do you have any idea where your son would be? Did you apply for it?

You can't just phone up and get him a place there instead even if you wanted one. But surely you considered both schools back when you applied and decided then that Wimbledon College was a better fit, so what has really changed apart from where his friends are going?

Schools in Wimbledon are quite a bit less oversubscribed than they used to be tbh, so it’s worth a try. The differences are really (1) faith - WC is a genuinely Catholic school (2) sport - lots of rugby at WC, less so at Harris I think (3) Ethos - Harris are notoriously strict (4) the obvious, but single sex vs co-ed.

Not really a case of which is “better” but which is better for your son.
