Hi
my son is 13 year old and good at puzzles , i want to encourage that but don’t know where to start .

any suggestions are welcome. I will look at school.

For pencil-and-paper puzzles, there is quite a community of puzzlers online. Lots of competitions are done online - you download a locked pdf of the puzzles; when you download the password, the clock starts ticking, and you enter the answer key for each puzzle as you solve it.

It's for everyone. I don't know of anything in this country specifically for children. Under 18s do compete, and there are special awards for the top under 18s in the world championships.

Chess is a great puzzle game - might not be exactly what you are thinking but lots of schools run after school chess clubs.
