Hi - we sat the aptitude test this morning and fingers crossed that my DD passes. Could anyone give me any idea what our chances are of passing the audition round with violin as her instrument? What level would she need to be? Thanks

Haha. We’re also visiting for the first time this Thursday. Our tutor recommended it as a backup. Did you try DAO?

i hear it’s very academic. It’s always oversubscribed. The location works for us. Why did you choose it?

Ashmole is a good school. I know quite a few kids there. Very academic

We’re near Potters Bar. Not many people have heard of it but I’m from North London and knew of it. Would be a short bus ride but add the walk either end and it adds up. I also know it to be strong academically and apparently discipline is a ‘big thing’. Seems very big - especially coming from a one form entry primary. I found out a family friend had a daughter there, now at university. She was a music scholar too (but a super gifted musician), did very well academically and speaks very highly of the school.
