Are secondary school appeal panel members aware of this information?

When you are appealing for multiple schools are the panel members aware of the outcome from the previous appeal? I noticed that it is same company (or whatever it is called) but different panel members but do they or can they access the outcome etc from previous appeal?

Thanks in advance.

In my borough we would only have the info in front of us for that apoeal. We would not have access to other appeals you had put in and the results of those. If a panel member had met you on a previous appeal they would not consider anything you said in that appeal.

Agree - we don't get previous appeal information.

just don't do what I've had people do before, and submit appeal papers with the name of the previous school appealed for rather than the school you mean to appeal for! That's always a bit of a giveaway....

^My DC would be disadvantaged by not attending this school because it is really important that they can do <this specific subject which isn't taught anywhere else >.
(Another of my cut and paste favourites).

Except, yes it is. In fact, at most schools in the area. Just not the one you're apparently here to appeal for today.

Don't worry, @Questiontimeintime - even where the same panel (with the same clerk organising the session) hears your appeal for more than one school actually on the same day, each is treated completely separately. And anyway, panels do understand that you may rightfully appeal for any school higher on your CAF than the one you were allocated, be that one, or a handful, and that there were reasons why each one of them was preferable to the one that you got, whatever they are.
