Clarendon Park or Noble Park in Epsom - Catchment for Rosebery School

Hello,

We are thinking of moving to Epsom in the next few months. DS will join year 4 in September, but we are thinking ahead and would love her to attend Rosebery School. We would like to move either to Clarendon Park or Noble Park. Are there any parents living there, whose daughter got into Rosebery? And is it pretty safe in terms of a catchment area to buy a property in these developments?

I saw that the furthest distance offer last year was 2.8km and the year before 2.6km - Clarendon shows 2.4km. I believe Noble is closer.

We would be very disappointed to end up buying a property and moving to this area and eventually not getting a place at Rosebery, as that's what is driving our move.

Thank you for your thoughts. I'd be grateful for any advice, personal experience.

looking at the August distances I think the last couple of years you would have been fine in both, but Clarendon would have been a no in 2022 very possibly depending on where exactly in the development.

we would be past the big birth boom years for your child when she gets to year 7, but Surrey has a very high % of children who go private normally, and the new VAT may mean a slight swing away possibly over the next few years putting more pressure on places.

As a Rosebery old girl, just want to wish your DD all the best, it's a great school. I have many happy memories! I don't live in Epsom any more so can't advise on the area I'm afraid.

Thank you for your kind words and taking the time to comment. I am glad you have such happy memories, we love the sound of the school too. 😊
