Annual bursary reassessment pre-sixth form?

My son has been on a bursary since year 7 and the annual reassessments are always done in June each year. Now he’s in year 10 I was just wondering how it works in year 11, as reassessing in June would leave it too late to give a term’s notice if you decide to leave? For context the bursary was reduced last year and if it is reduced any further we would be forced to leave after GCSEs

I don’t want to ask the school yet, and give any hint that we may have to leave so was hoping someone here might know? Thanks in advance.

Nothing to be done... just ask the school. You don't have to indicate anything
