Summer course in Italy

I’m researching a residential language course in Italy for my teen. Any recommendations? Ideally a course that teaches Italian well, but also with some good extra curricular activities (culture and sport). Thanks!

Hello OP, I've just recommended this particular website to someone else looking for a language course for their teen. I found an Italian intensive for myself through this site a few years back, and that course incorporated cultural activities. The uni I studied at isn't listed, however this year I see Syracuse University in Sicily are offering Intensive Italian and Culture; you can also contact them regarding cusomised/personalised programmes:

@Gummibärchen that’s super helpful thank you!

Glad it's useful, OP. One caveat, as you didn't mention your teen's age: I would recommend you check what the minimum age of student they accept is, as some courses are 18+ only.

Hi OP. I’m doing the same! My DD will be 15 1/2 summer 2026 and keen for a while to do a residential in Italy to help with her language skills. Unfortunately the school don’t offer a Nat 5 (Scottish GCSE equiv) and there are no courses on offer here for under 18s. Keep in touch. Good luck in your search.

I’m still looking (for the same age group) - have found a couple of courses on language international - have you looked at them?
