SW London Grammar and private senior school entry 2026

Setting up this thread for those of us with DC joining year 7 SW London schools in 2026.

We’re planning to apply to KCS, Hampton, Epsom and Reed’s.

Have been living in Dubai for three years, returning in August for year 6 at DS’ old prep school.

DS has an online tutor focussing on exam technique and any gaps in the curriculum, plus Atom. Current school is great but definitely not preparing him for 11+!

Dulwich offer email came through just after 8am!

with the bursary we needed.

Really thrilled that DS has an academic scholarship offer at Trinity. Had almost ruled it out as too far, but that puts it back on the list 😊 The manic refreshing of emails continues…!

Hampton emails are out!

Phew - three of ours (St Benedict's, NHEHS and FHRP) came through nice and early - and one early enough to tell DD as she went off to school... Now just waiting on three of our more tenuous ones. But at various points I've been (perhaps irrationally) worried that we'd end up with nothing, so a huge relief!

Totally relate with the irrational fear!! So happy to shut the door on that and move on with life 😄

We have this in our Dulwich College portal too but no email as yet - dont want to count any chickens! wonder if they send the emails in batches… Really happy to have been offered Trinity and Whitgift but DC is our nearest. Good luck to all today - whatever happens the kids have all done brilliantly just getting through this process.

We've heard from Royal Russell but not Emanuel or Alleyns yet. Feels like a long day ahead- Alleyns sent an expectation management email yesterday saying it will take them all day

we received an offer email from St George’s weybridge this morning at about 8.30am. Swiftly followed by a hefty letter through the door at 9am! Can’t fault them in their efficiency offer day.

DC looks amazing. We really liked it. If it was close to us we would have gone for it.

So far received positive news from CLSG and SHHS awaiting GL . I remember from our older DD GL came out after 2pm.
Great news for all those who have positive news I hope all our DD will be super relieved. Those on WL pls be positive, from our experience it does move and sometimes last minute also.
