Hadley Wood secondary schools

We’re hoping to move to Hadley Wood - it works well location wise for the (fee paying) primary school our DS is going to this year. I’m relatively new to the area though and can’t work out what state secondary school provision there is (I know about the private ones already but we’re not necessarily wedded to that path - we just want the right school.

Barnet in particular seems to have good state and grammer options but a mission from Hadley wood so I can’t see for state options in particular, how the catchment area would work. Does anyone know? And what about Enfield?

It used to be such a large catchment area around HW that it would include Southgate School in Cockfosters. I imagine it's shrunk over the years though. St Marthas Convent is in HW. Dame Alice Owen is Barnet along with another school of which the name escapes me. Enfield has Kingsmead and Chase - both of which will be a mission from HW. Closer to you are Southgate, East Barnet, Ashmole - all of which are state schools.
