Hi, I would be grateful to receive any feedback from parents whose daughters moved to KCS in sixth form in recent years and how they found the transition, how well the girls mix with the existing students etc, have they been happy with the move etc? Thanks!

I came here to post exactly the same question! Great minds etc. Will be watching your thread with interest. Good luck with your decision making x

I haven't had a daughter there but my DD had a few friends who moved there and I worked there until a couple of years ago.
Mixed bag- some loved it, some didn't. The ones who loved it were either the big party girls who got in with the 'popular' crowd' or the ones who were very studious and really didn't care about that side of things. A couple really struggled to find their feet with friends etc and wished they'd stayed at their old schools. When I worked there it still felt like a boys school rather than co- ed in the sixth form, but may be different now. Lots of chat in lower sixth about the girls and who's going out with who etc etc!

Hi @HappyShoppingBag @Koulibiak, probably a bit late now, but for what it's worth DD is in y12 and is really happy there! She joined from an all-girl school, kept her former friends, and made lots of new ones, boys and girls. I checked regularly with her re. boys attitude and she says they are sweet and fun. She doesn't mind being outnumbered.
Work is intensive and hard (school makes sure there's no slacking by scheduling frequent tests) but great atmosphere, and lots of parties. Transition was super smooth, the school really makes sure that the girls feel welcomed, they have girls-only sessions with teachers etc.
Congrats to your daughters and hope they'll enjoy it as much as mine! 😊
