Colyton Grammar 11+ letter

The results came out last week and there seems to be different letters that are given to those that passed. Does anyone understand/know the different types?

Letter A is if you put Colyton as your first preference then they expect to allocate a place
Letter B is for the we may be able to allocate a place (this depends on movement from the letter A group)
Letter C is a decline/not pass

Great! I thought it was like this as my eldest got an eligible score and received a C letter I presume as it was ‘may get a place’. Son just received a ‘expect to allocate a place’ so must be an A letter
