Suggestions for Gloucestershire STR AND CRPYT SCHOOL REVIEWS

Hi, my son has recently been qualified for 3 grammar schools in gloucestershire (Sir Thomas Rich's, Marling & The Crypt). Looking for opinion/reviews about the environment, values, care, study pressure/expectation, sports, clubs & facilities from the parents who have children there. Mine Interested in sports as well. Please share your experience. What kind of difference does an all boys school & a mixed school can make? Any guideline/suggestion to follow before putting our choice? 😊

I'm in Cheltenham but lots of kids here go to the Gloucester Grammars. Thomas Rich's and Marling are considered slightly better than Crypt, and are in nicer areas. My next door neighbour is in Crypt and not happy but she's a girl, she's planning to apply to Thomas Rich's for 6th form. I'm going out look at Thomas Rich's and Marling 6th forms for ds.
