I haven't, but I'm a teacher and I can tell you that the school will take homophobic bullying very seriously indeed. Contact them and report it.

My son told me the other day that a boy in his year group was suspended for calling another a homophobic slur. I have told my son on many occasions to be kind/cool to those who are being picked on, and not to join in. Perhaps you could reach out to a 'trusted' member of staff and relay the same thing to parents Whatsapp groups et al, backed up with the warnings about suspension. Essentially schools and in particular PARENTS need to reinforce the message, that its not 'cool' to bully and throw about slurs.

Read school's anti-bullying policy and complaints policy then contact head of year. Policies should be on website.

Speak to the teacher and school with deal with it, they take these issues very seriously.
