Is there a place to find out catchment distance for students were offered a place on the wait list?

Am I right that the published catchment lists (I'm thinking of London, Camden specifically) are for kids offered places on offer day -- and not from the wait list?

I'm considering taking my (now Year 6) child on some tours of schools that we are way out of catchment for but might hopefully get in off the wait list. But I don't want to get my hopes too high up and wondered if there's a place I could look to see distances offered after the official offer day ...

Thank you!

You need to look for max distance offered by the end of coordination (Aug 31st). Some LAs publish this, especially if they're frequently asked for it. If yours doesn't, just email their admissions team and ask for it.

Ours only publishes the offer day data and not the movement data.

Our school publishes this.

Don't trust locrating. It is wildly inaccurate for many schools.

Camden will tell you this for the last 3 years if you call them

Council may have previous FOI requests -or submit your own. For our council someone has helpfully asked this exact question every year for the last 8 years! The responses are publicly available on the FOI section of the council website.
