Hi, can anyone please give me a feedback of this school. I am planning to send my child here for secondary education. As per ofsted rating, school is outstanding but some reviews are not good. Their GCSE and A level results also look good. Can someone please share their experience if possible. Would be happy to know feedback from parents too, whose kids are currently going there. Please help and guide.

We went to their open day last year and were very impressed, it was the only state school we visited and we would be happy to send our son here. I know a couple of parents with kids there ( A level students now) and they couldn't be happier. This year their admissions show only children with CCP got in, so assume higher number of applications this year..

I have friends with sons there currently as my daughter’s primary was one of the feeder schools and a few of the boys went there rather than The Cardinal Wiseman School, my brother went there YEARS ago. From what they’ve said their boys are very happy there. it’s not for everyone, it’s really strict, they are very hot on behaviour - use lots of sanctions and detentions. They do a lot to support the kids, run Saturday support sessions and interventions, it’s quite a big rugby school, so if your son likes sport that’s helpful.

I think like all catholic schools it’s not for everyone, you fit in or you are going to have a tough time. They did look at going to mixed sex but I believe it didn’t go ahead after consultation after objections from some of the girls schools in Brentford.
