Independent Secondary with great dance / performing arts facility

Hello my daughter is currently in Year 6, we are exploring options in Herts or Beds ideally.
we want an all round school really where she will have a varied curriculum. Not TO academic, only because she won’t enjoy that pressure. But with good facilities for dance / singing performing arts. She’s not really a ballet dancer though. We are on the border of Herts and beds. Have looked at tring but would be so far in the mornings. She doesn’t want to board all week. Any other suggestions?

Could she commute into London and go to Arts Ed (arts educational school) ?

Queenswood. Depending on where you are you might be in the one hour radius of the school transport network (door to door). They also have flexi and weekly boarding.

Their drama and dance is superb - my DD has a drama scholarship and attends Tring Park Associates classes.

@DibbleDooDah Thank you, we did look at Queenswood, I really liked it but they said we were outside the area for door to door service. In traffic that is around 50 mins drive from us. And I have two other children at other schools. It’s definitely an option just ideally need a school bus or a train station near by

Tring is the main one really. Otherwise Sandringham and Beaumont are state and outstanding for drama, music and dance. Catchment areas are insanely tight though. Or how about Best Theatre School on Saturdays and mid week? They are excellent and then you can go to any day school near you that offers GCSE and A level drama.
