I would like to know that does anyone need to take English lessons mandatory in sixth form and resit GCSE English exam if got below grade 6?

I would think that would be extremely unusual.

It's common to have to resit English Language GCSE if you get below a 4, but I wouldn't think most sixth forms would be resourced to support students getting 4 or 5 to get a higher grade.

Whilst some future options might require a 6, I dont think sixth forms would mandate it.

You’d also need to find out if a sixth form would take a student with grade 4 gcse, many won’t.

Most require a 4/5. If the A level subjects are essay based it may be sensible to have classes covering writing techniques as it may hold them back otherwise.

Maybe explain a bit more about your current position. Age, gcses etc.
Is English not your first language?

The government requires you to take mandatory lessons and resit GCSE English Language in sixth form/college if you got below a 4 in both English Language and English Literature GCSE.

Colleges might have their own rules but that would be unusual.

My sons' school would not accept students for 6th form with a grade below 5.
