Secondary schools near Craven Arms Shropshire

Hi Mums, I’m about to move my 12 year old son into Craven Arms, Shropshire. I will be looking for a secondary school for him. Closest seems to be Bishops Castle, Church Stretton and Ludlow CofE. I’d really like some parent feedback on these or maybe you can recommend alternative schools. He will be going into year 8 and we can’t start until January. Many thanks, Maxi

Tbh the best school around is Wigmore but this is difficult to get into and possibly full.
I think from craven arms you can get a bus to church stretton or Ludlow, but bishops castle you might need to check as you may need to provide your own transport.
I'm afraid from what we have heard anecdotally from friends none of these schools are particularly good. But visit them and see what you think?
