Wallington high school for Girls - waiting list movement

My daughter scored 273 and is currently 15th on the waiting list for Wallington High School for Girls as of July 15th. Last year, the lowest score for admission by March was 278 and 263 by September. This year, the lowest score by March was 283, and it has not decreased much since then. Is there any chance she might get admitted to Wallington 2024? Additionally, do other grammar schools accept mid-year admissions? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I think there will be some movement n the summer and especially in early September i.e. after the start of term - some kids just won't turn up. Hope you get what you want.

@Ermintrudewasinnocent Thanks a lot. It sounds really positive . Have you heard anyone waiting listed as 15 now secured a place in the past?

I think its hard to say, but if a place is offered a few weeks after the start of term in September some parents higher up on the waiting list might refuse it if their child has already settled elsewhere. That might be your best hope given you are not at the top - I think its unpredictable but not impossible

Thanks a lot. I will keep you post if she secures the place. Thanks again
