I'd like to chat with other new parents, get help working out the bewildering array of sports uniform items (surely they won't need all of those things all at once 😮) And just share this exciting new chapter in our DCs lives. No one else in DS's cohort is going there, but he's really chill and not at all worried about making new friends. I'll worry on his behalf lol.

DS too. We haven't bought any uniform except the blazer, will buy as and when we need it I guess!

Hi sevensister! Ironically it will be the cheapest uniform we've ever bought, since most of it doesn't need to come from the uniform shop, and they can wear any navy blazer. The one on Asda's website for £14.99 looks the best! What do you recommend?

For the sports kit, it gives a choice of sports but how do we know which sport they will do in September, or can they choose? DS would want hockey or football.

Will probably go to M&S, their uniforms tend to last ages. We were asked to pick the sports I thought? We picked football for the autumn and assume it will be allocated!

My DS is starting in year 8, though he'll be inducted with the year 7s. It was a late decision, which may be why we haven't had this info.
