Woldingham for a non sporty academic girl?

We are considering Woldingham for Y7 DD who is very academic, into science etc but not sporty. We went to visit, really liked it. DD likes the fact that she could commute daily to start with and then potentially board during the week in a few years time.
BUT a fellow school mum seem surprised that we were considering it as she knows DD is really not sporty (she enjoys it, just not really great at it). Is that an issue do you think??

Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Just to add: JAGS is the other school we are considering, her headmaster recommended as a perfect fit for her, she should have a good chance to be accepted.
But she has it in her mind that she wants the option to board.

My eldest is just finishing Y7 at Woldingham and is a scientist, doesn't know one end of a hockey stick from another and it's truly amazing. She has come out of her shell, being a geek is cool and many science clubs on offer, chemistry cosmetics, STEM etc she has loved. She comes back happy every day and the pastoral and even food side fabulous.

She's a day pupil and haven't tried flexi boarding yet, it's very popular and changing from Sep so can flexi up to 3 nights.

Have been far more impressed than I thought I would be and the new headmistress seems fantastic and sensible.

Thank you @PigletMum40 ! Food side, v important for DD so good to know.
Do you feel like the school challenges your daughter enough academically wise?

Definitely enough challenge, lots of stretch opportunities and in my view the right level of homework, a good amount but not all weekend working like some of the more hothouse options we looked at.

Feel free to DM me as well.
