Hi there,
Looking at Henrietta Barnett as a possible senior school for my dd. I know it's super hard to get into, but at this stage I'm really looking for an insight into the school itself? Is the pressure far more intense than at leading indies like SHHS or Highgate, for example?
It does seem that sometimes schools that have a reputation for being super pushy are actually more well-rounded than people think, but equally I've heard of grammars where the kids are so massively helicoptered it creates quite a miserable culture. My dd is very academic and loves learning, but I also believe that schools should be balanced! Can anyone offer any insight?
