Currently considering secondary schools for my year 5 daughter who has anxiety over going into school (possible autism but hasn't been assessed). Keen to find a school with good pastoral care who will be able to support her if needed and would like to know what if people's experience is of the pastoral/SEN care at St Dunstans college? Thank you.

I have one child at St Dunstans Senior school, and moved his younger sibling out of there because (my opinion but based on first hand experience) they have zero time for students who are not going to boost the academic standard.
Since 2023 the entire culture has shifted. There are now two feeder schools at junior level - meaning a place at Senior School is 60% likely. The principal is now a CEO ( no seriously). And they want to have remote campuses in Saudi etc. It's a big shame because it used to be a good school with a focus on children rather than a corporate. It's all very Manchester United ( not very good at all but sell shirts abroad)
