Hi there
I understand that UCS doesn’t have any any entry exams for 13+, but I was wondering if they would have occasional spaces to apply for. I contacted them and they said no and they have a solid waiting list and call back nearer to the time. Does anyone have any personal experience on occasional spaces there? Thanks

My only knowledge of it is it's very very oversubscribed.

Given that some boys have been there from the age of 4, there’s a good chance a few will leave UCS for boarding school or other London schools at 13+ (as opposed to senior-only schools where the boys have only started at Y7). I know some schools hold an informal exam for those on the waiting list to decide who will be offered the available places. I would ask to be added to their waiting list now if possible (you might need to be a bit persistent!)
