We are currently considering secondary schools for my daughter, who is currently in a large state primary school. She has struggled over the past few years with anxiety over going into school...she will go in eventually but it is often a real struggle and very dependent on how caring the staff are. We are looking for a secondary school for her with really good pastoral care. We are considering private schools as we wonder if smaller class sizes might be helpful for her but will also apply to state schools as undecided at the moment.
If anyone has any insight into the pastoral care and support at Prendergast Hilly Fields (state), St Dunstans (private), Sydenham High GDST (private), Blackheath High (private) and Colfes (private), I would be very grateful. Thank you.
