Spanish Pen Friends to help A-Level

Hi. Does anyone know if penfriends are still a thing? My daughter is doing A level Spanish and would like to write to someone her own age to help improve her language skills and also learn more about the country/ culture. She's asked her teachers who haven't been able to help and I'm a bit worried about her being contacted by random men online

Does any local school do a student exchange with a Spainish School? In my school that was how and to this day penpal system works. It might be worth your daughter contacting local schools to see if they do similar.

I know a girl who did a successful pen pal exchange and eventually in person who she met through a website or app called lingoo or something like that. That was a few years ago but there may be a trustworthy site dedicated to that. I am surprised the teacher can't help! Maybe you can contact a school in Spain directly?

Is your daughter on IG or email?
(I have a Spanish teen)
