Aqa history :cold war help. What's the best thing to concentrate on at this stage? Dates? Themes?

She's a very good student but panicking about tomorrow, said she's secure on Germany but not the cold war.

I'm sure she's pretty secure but at this stage, exam tomorrow what should she be looking at?

I'm struggling to find past papers.

I’m sure she knows more than she thinks she does! I did the same 1945 -1980 Cold War history period for my O level - in 1982! It felt like not so much history and more like lived experience.

I hope so, it's one of her favourite subjects and she wants to do it for a level.
She's been very calm so far so I guess some tears are to be expected...

It's weird how she put it off but then she forgot it and she's been studying like mad for ages!

With the cold war it's all about why tensions increase and decrease. For each event/case study I would focus on it's causes, events and consequences (especially for the tension between east and west).

Thanks tiger, we've just been all through that, it's mind boggling! It's so intense and so many things happen on Oct 27th!!..

I wonder if it's the toughest subject??

Much better than she expected, questions topic she wanted came up!
She's got plenty of time for the next history exam which is after half term I think.
