Is cv or personal statement necessary for 13+ top independent school admission? Thanks

Not to my knowledge. (Traditional full boarding school.)

What on earth could most 10/11/12 year olds have to put down that wouldn’t have been initiated and paid for by their parents? Children of that age don’t have much agency, so it would surely be an odd thing to include as part of the competition for a place?

13+ entry usually requires an entrance exam / exams (maybe a pre-test + CE), a Head’s report and an interview.

Which school’s websites have you been looking at that require more, @Katenet? Would be wholly outside my experience.

Thank you for your kind suggestion. The agent tends to work out a CV for children and charge high price from parents. But I am not sure if this CV useful in admissions process.
