as a family we have been thinking about Northwood School (see other posts) for one of my DD and DS but we also thinking private to keep options open so is st jo's any good because the fees are a bit cheaper than normal and I feel that there is a reason for this. how about Claire's court for my DS too? is it any good?

My brother attended CC from year 9 to 6th form.
Admittedly he is now in his 30s so not a current assessment however our families experience is that it was a lovely caring school - small enough for pupils to be known well to staff and get focus on areas of interest or where support was needed, great pastoral care, lovely facilities and a good mix of backgrounds - some inherited wealth, some parents were CEOs and others owned small local businesses - my parents were an office admin and an emergency service mid level worker, and nobody ever batted an eyelid.
