Hi. DD has ADHD and has found year 9 challenging. Focus not capability.
she mentioned today that she would like to repeat year 9 at a different school so she has a year to sort herself out before starting GCSE’s. How easy is it to get a place at private school out of year like that? I understand state schools don’t like kids to be out of year. She wouldn’t want to stay where she is.
She is a summer born so I don’t feel it’s a bad idea but not sure how easy it would be to find somewhere willing to take her!!
