The dreaded Secondary offer letter arrived last week, and we didn't get any of our six choices. Our local schools both got very popular in the last year and we are now "out of catchment". Kingsdale Foundation School was our first preference, and we are 105 on the random allocation waiting list (Band 2). I know its a complete unknown, but am just curious to hear if anyone managed to get in at such a high waitilist number, eg around Christmas in year 7 or even later in year 8? We are just trying to weigh up all our options. Thank you!
