As someone who went to both of these schools backwell may be better acedemically but if you want your child to get bullied by the nasty year 8 girls and year nine girls and boys feel free, I’m not saying it won’t happen in nailsea because it’s everywhere but before I left nailsea to go to backwell I thought it was right but boy was I wrong. Nailsea has a beautiful building and it’s very pretty whereas backwell is so disgusting it’s filled with dust and rust and dirt it’s falling to bits and honestly is grim. Nailsea is a good school to learn in and it’s literally no different to backwells learning but the behaviour systems are different in backwell if you say one word you get sent to bsr or get a formal it’s unreal whereas nailsea will give you warnings before that’s arnet on the system. So I recommend nailsea not backwel.
