app with the fun and streaks of duolingo for English spelling?

DC absolutely loves duolingo as finds the format fun and loves having streaks of over a year.

Are there any apps that might help with English spelling (not connected to other languages and for a native English speaker) or anything connected to English GCSE.

DC finds everything except English very easy and would like a fun way to improve with 10 minutes a day.

This would be such a good thing for Duolingo to do! They now offer Maths and Music so maybe Spelling might be next? We could message them to request it?

When my children were a bit younger they did Spelling Shed I think, but it's not 'gamefied' in the way Duolingo is

Hi, yes there is lots of English on you tube channels to check out and learn. They are fun as well. The BBC does a free English course, but maybe to basic. Also, look at Corsera this is free of Charge learning and good fun.

Thank you for the replies. Zuve do you have any links to your examples of the type of thing you mean. Do you mean coursera?

I should have said DC is year 10 and on track for 9s in all GCSEs other than English which is more like a 7 or 8 but spelling is weaker than you would expect when most subjects come so easily. DC loves duolingo and having a streak of over a year and wanted something similar. I didnt know duolingo offered maths, but DC definitely doesnt need maths.

Yes thanks DC used to do freerice as lot as vocab was relatively poor as was deaf for years until had hearing aids. Something like that for spelling would be OK as is being helpful which would motivate too. Combined with streaks would be perfect!
