City of London School for Boys reserve bursary place

We received a reserve bursary place. Any in the same boat? What is the possibility of getting a guaranteed place? Any relevant information will be beneficial. Such a stressful days

My DS is a bursary place (not at the school you mention) and we will be rejecting all the offers except one so I am assuming it will mean a reserve on a bursary list will get that place, other things being equal. If that helps.

Did you get an offer from City in the end or are you still on the bursary reserve?

We are still on reserve.

They sent out an email yesterday stating that more than expected had taken up offers so they couldn't reach out to reserve list just yet.

Yes we did. But prefer City. We are not bursary though.

I'm surprised that the uptake has been so high this year, especially with the uncertainty of the 20% tax.

Yes, we are bursary.

I emailed them, and they said they will give answer tomorrow.

I don’t have much expectations anymore :)
