Hi, would any parents with direct experience please give me some insights regarding this school.

I'm well aware of the strict discipline in place ( not against it) I'm just trying to find out if the most able kids are well supported and stretched and that not all the focus are on the kids that are behind academically.

Many thanks in advance!

I have a child that went to COLAI. we moved her from another local secondary school and the difference was huge.

The discipline here is very good, which is very much needed in secondary schools. As for stretching your child, it depends on the cohort. If there’s a lot of disruption then that does affect learning and the teachers ability to give attention to kids at greater depth. But I feel that my child was certainly pushed and is now at university studying law.
