Haileybury college and Stedmunds

Does anyone know if you need to score extremely high in the entrance exams to be offered a place?

St Edmund’s is easier to get into than Haileybury. It does however give priority to Catholics and siblings so there is essentially a 2 pass mark system.

It isn’t a very academic school. Some of those in the top sets will get 7s instead of 8s and 9s.

I don’t know too much about Haileybury as we ruled it out due to the Saturday school. I think they may give preference to boarders? Locally last year there were fewer children admitted than the local private prep would normally expect.
