Chris Pratt Help GIF by Amazon Prime Video

Hello my daughter is ASD and at APS (Alexandra Park School) she is now in year 9. She has been offered a place at CCF as since going to APS is now suffering with chronic anxiety and is very unhappy. what is the provision like for those with kids at CCF who have SEN needs?

We met with the SEN team last year as we were considering moving our DC there. The SEN team seemed really nice; they have a lovely learning support centre and it's a much smaller school compared with APS. I can't speak to the day-to-day provision, as we're still on the waiting list (and I don't think DC will want to change schools if a space does come up bc transitions are hard and things have improved at our current school). I do know someone who's child goes there, though, and they are really pleased with it (their child does have some SEN needs, but not extremely complex).

You could try giving the school a call and see if the SEN team could meet with you before you have to decide on the place. When I first contacted them by email, I received a call back within a couple of hours and they were happy to invite us in for a chat and a tour.

My overall impression is that it's a really lovely school with good SEN support and great academics.

DS's best friend, who has sensory processing issues, goes to CCF. His mum chose it because she'd heard it's good with SEN and her son seems to be doing well and happy there.
