Secondary schools in Canterbury

Hello all.

Does Anyone have any experience of and can recommend any secondary schools in Canterbury?

St Anselm’s seems to be one of the most popular non-selectives. I’ve had a child there and we liked it. Spires seems to have turned itself around and is now popular and over-subscribed.
Canterbury Academy has just been down-graded and doesn’t have a great reputation these days, especially for discipline, though I don’t know anyone there personally.
Archbishops is the one you’ll get if you don’t get any of your choices.
I don’t know anything about Barton Manor.
All of the grammars have good reputations, I think that just comes down to whether you prefer single or mixed sex.
