Dear All

Does anyone know if there a school transport or private bus service from Chelmsford to Brentwood Ursuline please? I know the 351 runs from Chelmsford to Brentwood but that takes ages.

I'm fairly local and I know most contract buses are cut now unless there are private arrangements in place, the school would have more info though. My older two got a contract bus (Chelmsford school) but my youngest has to get two public buses which is a massive pain and means I end up driving her most days.

Thanks @RedSoloCup . Hopefully, the school has something. We want to apply for year 7 2024

Train to Shenfield (c.10 minutes), change for Brentwood, one stop on Elizabeth Line? The school is only about half a mile from the station.

Greater Anglia do Scholars' season tickets, which give a discount on the fare and can be used at any time during the validity period, e.g. for meeting up with friends at the weekend (or in the holidays with an annual one). Different schools and we're on the c2c line, rather than GA, but we used to have Scholars' seasons provided through GA and DS1 and DD used theirs loads for socialising.

Eta, there is also a bit about transport on the Ursuline website, including a link to the GA scheme. The private bus services mentioned only serve routes from the Basildon and Thurrock areas.
