Latymer Upper - do kids commute from South London?

We are in Balham/Clapham and loved the school. It’s about a 40min tube ride from us so feels doable.

However we are wondering whether there are likely to be other pupils from as far out as us or nearby. Can anyone shed any light?

There won't be many but will probably be a handful. DCs from south of the river tend to come more from Richmond, Barnes. Putney etc

Thanks!

We toured the school last year when my DC was taking the 11+. It might be just an impression but it seemed to me that kids were coming from all over London. The two pupils who guided our tour both lived far from the school and one said she had a 1h tube journey every day.

My brother travelled in from Richmond.

They do come from all over but there won't be many for them area OP mentioned. Not necessarily a problem though, just something to be aware of.
Remember sports grounds are at Wood Lane and Chiswick and there are lots of before and after school clubs as well.
40 mins is fine for a commute.
