Does not look like my DC will stand a chance for two Grammar schools we applied locally. We predict she scored around 70 per cent but definately not enough to gain a place in either.
Carefully considering local independant options, Bancrofts, Forest, Chigwell.
Are here parents whose children sat Redbridge 11plus or Latymer and also say the local private ones? Do you know how they can be compared? In terms of pass scores and rankings etc.
I just do not want to put DC through another dozen of tests and interviews and facing another failure (not that we treat it as such but DC is very contious of wins and we do not want to lower the self esteem by putting through these again and again).
Any advice is appreciated.
